Become an AIRzubi: Aircraft Electronics Technician (d/m/w) at Airbus

Are you fascinated by aircraft and eager to be part of their construction? Join Airbus as an AIRzubi and start your apprenticeship as an Aircraft Electronics Technician (d/m/w). You will help build the future of aviation!

Your Daily Tasks:

  • Install and wire electronics: You will manufacture and install complex cable bundles into aircraft, connecting them to critical equipment such as flight control systems.
  • Check and start systems: You will officially commission electrical systems and test them for flawless functionality.
  • Maintain oversight: You will become a professional in on-board electronics, ensuring the aircraft is ready for takeoff.

Make it happen, make it fly: Your Apprenticeship

During your 3.5-year apprenticeship, in cooperation with the GELUTEC vocational school, you will become an absolute technology professional. You will learn to:

  • Measure and analyze electronic functions.
  • Install, set up, and commission components and subsystems of aircraft electronics, known as avionics.
  • Analyze malfunctions and use test software and diagnostic systems for systematic troubleshooting.

Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of employment at Airbus Operations or Airbus Aerostructures.

Your Boarding Pass: Requirements

  • Application Documents: A complete curriculum vitae (from primary school, month/year to month/year).
  • Education: At least a basic school leaving certificate (ESA).
  • Interests: Enjoyment of mathematics, physics, and technology.
  • Language Skills: At least B2 German (for international qualifications).
  • Mindset: You are a team player and eager to learn new things.
