Apprenticeship: Electronics Technician for Automation Technology (m/f/d)

Role: Electronics Technician for Automation Technology

Electronics Technicians for Automation Technology analyze the functional relationships and process flows of automated systems. They install and adjust electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic drive systems and incorporate measuring, control, and regulation technology. They assemble, configure, program, and adjust sensor systems, operating systems, bus systems, and networks. The installed components are connected to form complex automation facilities, which are then integrated into an overall system. After test runs, the systems are handed over, and future users are instructed in their operation. You will also be responsible for fault analysis and troubleshooting of the systems during operation.

What you should bring:

  • A good secondary school leaving certificate (mittlere Reife) or Abitur.
  • Good German and good English language skills.
  • Personal interest in mathematical and physical relationships.
  • Pronounced technical understanding.
  • Manual dexterity and a passion for electronics.

Vocational School Information:
