About the Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Cadder Yard, Scotland, you will play a crucial role in the commercial management of projects. You'll support the entire project lifecycle, from contract award to completion, ensuring robust financial control, effective contract management, and successful delivery.

What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the commercial management of projects, encompassing cost tracking and reporting.
- Preparing and submitting applications for payment, variations, and change requests.
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and documentation.
- Attending project meetings and contributing to risk and opportunity tracking.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite, 2 days from home).
Essential Experience
- Experience in a commercial, quantity surveying, estimating, or contract administration role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of contracts and commercial processes.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) or be working towards a relevant qualification.
