Airbus Protect - Electrical & Optical Systems Supply Chain Resilience Engineer - (All Gender)

Based in Toulouse, you will join the Airbus Protect Industrial Innovation team, supporting the MFT (Multi-Functional Team) Standard Parts of Airbus Commercial in the engineering of electrical systems installation (ESI). You will act as the Quality/ME referente for the ESI scope, securing the supply chain by providing technical responses to Non-Conformities (NCs), delays, and other risks reported by major suppliers (Safran, Latelec, Cefee, etc.).

Missions & Responsibilities:

• Technical Analysis and Flexibility: Study supplier derogation proposals following an NC. Analyze the possibility of relaxing certain manufacturing constraints without impacting airworthiness, to release blocked stocks.
• Interchangeability Development: Identify and develop interchangeability solutions between components to offer greater production flexibility.
• Source Security & Transfers: Drive the development of second sources or the activation of alternative suppliers to mitigate failures. Anticipate and analyze 'Transfer of Work' (ToW).
• Remediation Plan Management: Develop and implement crisis exit scenarios to ensure production continuity.
• Multi-Department Coordination: Act as the interface between suppliers, the Design Office, Purchasing, and Production to de-risk ME (Manufacturing Engineering) specifications from the definition phase.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Consolidate Supply Chain risk-related data to anticipate future disruptions and improve the reactivity of the electrical perimeter.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an Engineering School or University (Generalist, Electrical, or Industrial).
• Experience: Experience in a Design Office or local ME is desirable.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of industrial electricity, preferably in aeronautics (e.g., crimping principles, connectivity, system installation). Technical analysis capabilities for plans and specifications.
• Aptitudes: Ability to gain perspective on industrial issues (you will be supported in developing these skills). Solution-oriented mindset, reactivity, and good interpersonal skills.
• Languages: Negotiation/operational level English is mandatory. Knowledge of the Airbus ecosystem (wiring methods, electrical standards) is a major asset.
