// Role Specification

Lockheed Martin is looking for ambitious and hardworking interns to work on several exciting projects at our office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The internship is planned to be in person and virtual. The intern will report to the manager of the Lockheed Martin KSA but will also take tasking directions from Lockheed Martin mentors in KSA and the United States.

Internship Projects:

  • Artificial Intelligence tool generation for space exploration applications.
  • Use LM modelling and simulation tools to develop and implement mission planning scenarios.
  • Tool generation for applying UMAP to radar classification.

  • If your GPA is less than 3.0/4.0 (4.3/5.0), you must explain why we should consider you despite the low GPA.
  • Nationality.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

  • KSA National studying in KSA universities.
  • Enrolled in a University in the KSA (or recently graduated).
  • Familiar with the software development life cycle.
  • Junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any engineering with computer programming experience.

Desired skills:

  • A passion for working in the aerospace and defence industry.
  • Past coursework/self-study in Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience writing software requirements and tests.
  • Strong Java/Python/C++/C#, and experience using and developing SDKs.
  • Strong data analysis skills preferred.
  • Recommended Majors – AI/ML, image/signal processing, Computer Science, EE.
