About the Role:
Are you seeking a role to develop and diversify your skills on a flagship program? As the Sea Ceptor C2 Validation and Verification Lead, you will own and drive the definition of C2 Test Scenarios and success criteria, ensuring the C2 product meets its stringent requirements through a product line approach. This pivotal role involves producing appropriate verification plans to agree on the method of verification with the equipment Design Authority.
The C2 system is the core of the weapon system, responsible for understanding threats, planning engagements, and managing them in dynamic environments. Its effectiveness is crucial to the user experience and delivering essential capability to customers.
Recent success in the export market for Sea Ceptor has led to new customers, bringing significant functional development and integration challenges for the C2 product. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team in the following activities:
- Populating DOORS Compliance Matrices modules to generate evidence of performance against requirements.
- Analyzing test results to validate C2 software operation.
- Defining scenarios and test descriptions to support software testing.
- Supporting issue resolution during software testing.
- Contributing to the production of technical, safety, and security reports by analyzing evidence and generating content.
- Generating metrics for work progress status.
- Engaging with wider project stakeholders.
