You will play a leading role in a range of Engineering activities, providing Test Equipment design support to the Manufacturing organization and broadening your expertise in an international environment. We have a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced Test Equipment Design Engineer to play a leading role in the support of production activities with Production Design Support (PDS) at our site in Bolton. You will act as an integral interface between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support.
The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas. Working within Production Design Support (PDS) is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can help to shape the design of the products and test equipment, delivering support to our customers.
What we're looking for from you:
- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that this may bring.
- Someone with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
- Experienced engineer who will be prepared to work autonomously.
What we can offer you:
- Salary: Up to £52,500 depending on experience
- Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
- Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance)
