About the Role
Are you passionate about engineering? As a member of our Firing Units and Power Electronics team, this is a fantastic opportunity to play an integral role in delivering our products.
This role involves being a first point of contact for advice and support on technical and process-related queries, and providing more formal support options. You will work on process improvement where opportunities are identified and promote awareness of relevant company processes across the team.
You will actively track the project activities of each Tech Lead through regular catch-ups and/or reviewing reporting materials they generate to their project design authority. Periodically, you will review each Tech Lead's L4 project plans.
With knowledge of each Tech Lead's project activities and plans, you will provide proactive guidance and course correction where potential issues are identified, rather than waiting for issues to arise. You will also support project gate reviews by advising on review pack contents and potentially holding pre-reviews before the actual gate review takes place.
This role serves as an escalation route to support realistic, cost-effective technical delivery solutions for stakeholders including the Head of Actuators, Equipment EDA, and the Head of Equipment Delivery. You will tailor the level of support and involvement as appropriate, based on the needs of each individual team Tech Lead, and investigate all potential opportunities for offloading are met for each project.
You will provide technical input to Bids in support of Actuator CofEx new business.

Working Arrangements
Location: Stevenage (Relocation package may be available).
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically, 3 days per week on site. We will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working where possible.
Security Clearance
As a minimum, successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks after an offer is made.
