About the Role
The Land Ceptor System of Systems organisation is experiencing rapid growth to support export contracts and product evolution, enhancing capabilities for our customers. As a System of Systems Engineer, your primary objective will be to support the functional integration of the Land Ceptor product within the broader context of a Ground Based Air Defence Weapon System.
This role offers the opportunity to support, or lead depending on experience, across several key workstreams. You will work collaboratively with customers and industry partners to develop solutions for current and future programmes. The work is varied, providing a unique opportunity for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the customer to define System of Systems Requirements, including evolution paths for future development.
- Collaborate with the customer to define System of Systems architecture and use-cases to support the development and evolution of system requirements.
- Define System of Systems integration requirements and associated verification plans.
- Conduct design and technical reviews, both internally and in conjunction with the customer.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to address technical issues, queries, and resolve conflicts. This includes coordinating responses to and from the customer and industrial partners.
What We Offer
- Salary: Circa £45,000 - £56,000 depending on experience.
- Location: Bristol (Relocation package may be available).
- Working Arrangement: Dynamic (hybrid) working, with 3 days per week on-site required due to workload classification.
