Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you will also demonstrate a strong leadership mentality, guiding your team through both technical and delivery challenges to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on development and actively contribute to the codebase, including peer review of code.
- Design software features to realize the product roadmap and articulate design choices.
- Break down large work items into well-defined tasks for Agile implementation.
- Support the setup and maintenance of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Conduct demonstrations of development work to internal and external customers.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience as a Software Engineer in one of the following areas:
- Backend development and its ecosystem (Java Spring boot, Maven, Python)
- Frontend development and its ecosystem (JS/TS, React, Npm)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation, deployment technologies & cloud platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).
- Understanding of database technologies such as SQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with experience in Agile ways of working.
- Must be a UK citizen and able to gain and maintain the highest level of UK Government clearance.
