The Opportunity
We have a range of exciting opportunities within our Seekers and DataLink Systems organisation, covering research, concept phase, product design, and production programmes. We are looking for a variety of knowledge and experience, from graduate engineers to experienced managers. The roles encompass RF and Electro-Optic technologies, with applications in systems design, hardware, and firmware.
Ideally, you will have exposure or a bias towards RF/EO/IR hardware and technology across the full product life cycle. We are currently recruiting for the following specific roles:
- Algorithm / Modelling Systems Engineers Seekers
- Design / Requirements Systems Engineers Seekers
- RF / MW Design Engineer Seeker Hardware
Your Contribution
We are looking for individuals with the ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team, demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving project goals. You should be adept at performing technical investigations, providing problem assessments, and proposing innovative design solutions.
You will be joining a rapidly developing product area within MBDA, with numerous opportunities to work on both new and established products. Our teams share a common goal: the delivery of product design solutions that meet customer requirements within agreed schedules and costs.
What We Offer
- Salary: £42,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
- Dynamic Working: Hybrid working options (2-3 or 3-4 days per week depending on role/classification).
- Company Bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance, variable year to year).
- Pension: Maximum total contribution (employer and employee) of up to 14%.
- Overtime: Opportunity for paid overtime.

Security Clearance
Requirement: Sole British Citizen only. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After an offer is made, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
