Project Manager

The Role
In this key position, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of work packages within a major nuclear infrastructure programme. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, guiding projects from the initial planning stages through to final delivery, ensuring all objectives are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of project work packages to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
- Manage project plans, budgets, forecasts, risks, and performance reporting.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
This role is full-time, 35 hours per week, and is based at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience delivering projects within engineering, infrastructure, construction, or similarly complex technical environments.
- Solid understanding of core project management disciplines, including planning, scheduling, reporting, and cost control.
- Experience managing project risks, issues, and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively within structured governance frameworks and project controls environments.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- APM Fundamentals qualification or an equivalent project management foundation qualification.
Desirable:
- Further project management accreditation or progression towards professional project management status.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
