Project Management, Control & Agile Summer Placement 2027
Our Project Management, Project Control, and Agile teams collaborate to deliver programmes of work and projects to customers on time, within budget, and to agreed specifications. This placement offers a unique opportunity to be at the centre of these vital operations.
The Opportunity:
Throughout the life cycle of our products, a diverse range of people and skills are required to design, craft, and deliver for our end customers. The Project Management, Controls & Agile (PMCA) Function plays an integral role in this. PMCA teams work collaboratively to deliver programmes and projects to customers and end users, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed specification. You will collaborate with partners across our organisation in a fast-paced, exciting, and changing environment, placing you at the heart of the project.
Your role will involve collating updates and information from all areas and levels of the business to plan future project activities. You will help deliver exciting new sophisticated technology and engineering projects, receiving on-the-job training from experienced professional project managers and project controllers. This varied role includes:
- Updating project plans.
- Preparing cost reports for senior management.
- Updating Risk Registers and working with metrics to identify and implement improvements in reporting methods.
- Exploring ways to enhance existing project planning processes.
