Leonardo is a global industrial group and a world leader in Aerospace, Defence, and Security. We are seeking a Mod Retrofit Engineer (MRO&U Methodologist) to join the Operations Unit within the Aircraft Business Unit at our Cameri Plant.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will support production activities during modification or repair operations, focusing on the understanding and completeness of work instructions. This role is key to managing increased workloads within MRO&U operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production by ensuring the comprehension and completeness of work instructions for modification and repair activities.
- Analyze applicable technical documentation to understand the most suitable technical flow and detail for implementing aircraft modifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Lockheed Martin to resolve technical constraints or inaccuracies in released documentation.
- Extensively use the company software Teamcenter for inputting work instructions, bills of materials, applicable documentation, and required records, reflecting the analysis performed.
- Utilize SAP and PMS software for corrections and necessary alignments to production work orders.
- Use the ALIS logistics system as dictated by the JSF program for maintenance management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Degree in technical disciplines, preferably Management or Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent technical diploma.
- Experience Level: Junior/Expert. Preference for at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or in Production Engineering, Work Analysis, or similar technical roles.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of production processes, flow analysis, and workload management typical of manufacturing companies.
- Language Skills: English B1-B2 level.
- IT Skills: Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH). Knowledge of other programming languages (VBA, Power Query, Python) is a plus.
