About the Role
MBDA's Land Ceptor Systems Engineering team is expanding to support the British and Polish Armies and to cater for export contracts. We are seeking a motivated Verification & Validation (V&V) and Certification Engineer to contribute to the development and certification of the Land Ceptor Weapon System. This role is crucial for supporting UK and Poland programmes by analyzing evidence and documenting V&V against system requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the certification team to capture, review evidence, and conduct technical investigations.
- Support the delivery of Certificates of Designs to facilitate customer deliveries.
- Review technical documentation to support functional evidence.
- Review and agree Design Verification Plans (DVP).
- Perform design reconciliation activities related to design changes and obsolescence.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-discipline engineering team (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.).
- Identify verification gaps, track issues, and support corrective actions.
- Prepare and review compliance documentation and verification reports for certification activities.
- Drive in-process improvements through efficient working methods and automation.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with IBM Rational Doors Classic.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze evidence and assess compliance against requirements.
- Strong analytical skills.
