Warehouse Operative (D/M/W) with Forklift Activity
Airbus Logistik GmbH, founded in 2021, is a key player in providing logistical support for Airbus's aircraft assembly lines, specifically for the A320 program. We receive, store, dispatch, and transport aircraft components for the final assembly lines in Hamburg, Tianjin (China), Mobile (USA), and Toulouse (France).
We are currently looking for motivated employees for our Hamburg site, located at Am Genter Ufer, to join us as Warehouse Operatives with forklift duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform smooth warehouse operations and standard inventory tasks.
- Store goods in containers, on pallets, or similar, including receiving from the handover point, scanning containers, and transporting them to their storage location.
- Consolidate picked goods, followed by packaging and preparation for onward transport.
- Reconcile item quantities and serial numbers.
- Package dangerous goods according to ADR 1.3.
- Verify and check within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Operate various automated warehouse systems such as Lean Lift, carousel racks, mobile shelving, and industrial trucks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as a specialist in warehouse logistics is advantageous.
- Previous experience in operational contract logistics is beneficial.
- Proficiency in German (spoken and written).
- Forklift license (Level 2); crane license is desirable.
- Experience with industrial trucks is desirable.
- Knowledge of material management systems; initial experience with MDT scanners and inventory tasks.
- Resilience, reliability, and customer orientation.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Valid G25 health examination certificate.
