About the Role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a motivated Junior Sustainability Officer (f/m) to join the SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and CDR (Carbon Dioxide Removal) Development department in Toulouse, France. As part of the CSO organization, this role is instrumental in defining and implementing Airbus's SAF and CDR roadmap through stakeholder influence and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the SAF communication & promotion plan.
  • Lead & organize SAF & CDR communication actions (e.g., webinars for customers, contribution to external events, creation of communication material).
  • Deploy the social network advocacy plan.
  • Deliver awareness and upskilling sessions internally within Airbus and externally towards customers / as part of industry events.
  • Contribute to SAF global and regional advocacy plans.
  • Deliver topical analyses / briefs / commentaries internally and externally.
  • Build an understanding of the regional situation on SAF supply, demand, and regulation.
  • Support the local team and monitor the SAF roadmap & SAF action plan implementation.
  • Participate in region-specific touch points as required.
  • Deliver market analysis on the SAF ecosystem (supply, demand, regulation).
  • Use the SAFIR database to produce ad hoc analysis on the SAF market.
  • Update the SAF regional advocacy roadmaps with the relevant market figures.
  • Contribute to the update and development of the SAF Knowledge Center.
  • Review the SAF Knowledge Center presentations and identify gaps.
  • Propose updated content for the knowledge center & deploy the associated action plan.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Law, International Law and Regulation, or Business Sustainability.
  • Understanding of sustainability topics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders outside your direct scope and interact with top management.
  • Openness, transparency, and high adaptability.
  • Skill in managing complex topics and simplifying them for a wider audience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
  • Negotiation level in English (additional languages are a plus).
