Naval Based Air Defence Systems Proving Engineer

MBDA is looking for proactive and committed Systems Proving Engineers to join the Integration and Systems Validation team in the Naval Based Air Defence domain. This is an exciting time to join an expanding team due to current and expected contracts.

We are seeking broad-based Systems Proving Engineers who will be responsible for:

• Working with the systems engineering and design teams to plan, generate, and execute trials.
• Liaising with the systems engineering and design teams to ensure adequate trials data is acquired and to investigate and resolve design issues.
• Generating trials documentation.
• Preparing, delivering, and following up on internal and external Trials Readiness Reviews.
• Conducting post-trials data analysis and reporting.
• Conducting and/or supporting a variety of trials, including:
  • Laboratory-based functional integration trials / system trials
  • Ground-based trials
  • Harbour trials and sea trials
  • Firing Trials
  • Trials in foreign countries

Additionally, the candidate will assist with:

• Lab Management responsibilities (e.g., maintain risk assessments, asset management, host audits, maintain lab safety etc.).
• Maintaining hardware and software configuration control.

The job will involve opportunities to travel within the UK and abroad.
