First Line Manager/Meister (m/f/d) in Equipment Assembly
Airbus Aerostructures GmbH is seeking a dedicated First Line Manager/Meister to join our A350 team in Hamburg. Our A350 Equipment Assembly team is responsible for the installation of mechanical and electrical components within the aircraft fuselage.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: You will lead your team of approx. 25 (commercial) equipment mechanics and electricians (m/f/d) in shift operations, both technically and disciplinarily.
- Team Development: You will identify training needs and equip your team with the digital tools of the future.
- Holistic Responsibility: You will manage your area with a focus on costs, deadlines, and quality, ensuring industrialization.
- Impulse for Optimization: You will drive continuous, preventive improvements to sustainably secure our performance.
- Safety & Care: You will ensure a healthy work environment where everyone can rely on each other.
- Interface Management: You will expertly moderate and resolve disruptions within the multifunctional team (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Occupational Health & Safety, etc.).
- Process Shaping: You will use Lean methods and digital tools to make production more efficient and future-proof, actively contributing your own ideas to projects.
What We Expect From You
- Qualifications: You have a Master's degree (Meister m/f/d) in metal, aviation, or production technology, a Technician's degree (Techniker m/f/d), a comparable Bachelor's degree, or a similarly acquired qualification.
- Leadership Experience/Understanding: You have substantial experience as a disciplinary leader and are fully immersed in the role. You see yourself as an enabler and decision-maker.
- Technical Expertise: You have experience in manufacturing and assembly and possess good foundational knowledge of Lean methods. You also have experience with IT tools/digitalization in a production environment.
- Language Skills: You speak German fluently and have a good command of English.
