About the Role
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Electronics Technician for Plant Technology, specializing in Tooling & Fixture Construction. This role is crucial for producing the highly complex tools that define our products, demanding a high degree of precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
The position is based in Donauwörth, where helicopters are developed from concept to flight-ready products. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the tools, from testing to their use in serial production, ensuring their functionality.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on tooling and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical tooling and equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspections and monitoring of tooling and equipment.
- Manufacture and assemble tools, fixtures, and gauges.
- Adapt, modify, and repair tools and fixtures.
- Participate in cross-functional special projects and workshops.
- Potentially participate in international assembly missions.
- Work in a performance and solution-oriented manner.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as an Electrical Mechanic for Plant Technology, Industrial Electronics Technician, or similar.
- Initial professional experience in production, maintenance, or repair is desirable.
- Knowledge of contactor and relay technology, control and regulation technology, and PLC systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is desirable.
- An engaged, responsible, and highly reliable work ethic.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Constructive approach to challenges.
- Independent and structured way of working.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and undertake occasional domestic and international assignments.
- On-call duty as required.
