Electrical Test Operator - Manufacturing Operations

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Test Operator to join our Manufacturing Operations team. You will be working in a fast-paced, friendly, and inclusive manufacturing environment, supporting the test and certification of a variety of electrical hardware builds. These range from small fixtures through to complex missile systems, covering all phases of the product lifecycle. Your role will be to provide operations support, ensuring programme targets are met according to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that completed hardware builds are tested in accordance with drawing requirements and specifications.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment in-line with 5S policies.
  • Always aiming to deliver in line with all time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Ensuring assembly unit production costs are met.
  • Maintaining the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality.
  • Ensuring the completion of all manufacturing documentation.
  • Working closely with fellow Operators, Engineering, and Quality teams to overcome technical challenges and offer feedback for continuous improvement activities.

About the Team:

You will be part of a large, multi-disciplined team of operators in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The team comprises a mix of apprentices and experienced skilled technicians, all dedicated to delivering technical excellence across various missile systems in development and production.

What We're Looking For:

  • Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard)
  • Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing degree or equivalent experience.
