We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Immenstaad. As an integral business unit of Airbus Defence and Space, we are a leading force with over 1300 cyber experts across European locations in France, Germany, Spain, and the UK. Your Tasks and Responsibilities
As an Engineer, you will be part of the Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Center of Competence, tasked with sustainably, future-orientedly, and continuously improving the level of information security.
In close coordination with the Cyber Security Architect, your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining information security concepts and other security-relevant documents (policies, guidelines) according to the current BSI IT-Grundschutz.
You will advise all relevant stakeholders on technical, procedural, and organizational information security topics.
Participate in internal and external workshops and meetings on information security, as well as undertake business trips to clients within project frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Master) in Information Security, Informatics, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a comparable field.
- Ideally, 2 years of specialized, practical professional experience in IT / Information Security, as well as in advising on IT-Grundschutz requirements.
- Knowledge of tools for modeling information security requirements (SAVe, Verinice, HiScout Grundschutz, or other ISMS tools) is an advantage.
- Desirable certifications: BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner or similar information security certifications.
- Enthusiasm for driving information security within projects.
- You are a team player with a high degree of communication skills and wish to create a trusting work environment together.
- Very good communication skills in German and English (fluent).
